August is for AniMEALS

Thanks to your support, “August is for AniMEALS” continues to be a great success. Last year, Meals on Wheels Rowan and Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary partnered to share your gifts of support for dogs and cats. With your help, we raised over $30,000 for pets and over one ton of pet food! 

We request your support again as we set out to raise thirty thousand dollars in donations and two tons of pet food. Faithful Friends and Meals on Wheels will share all pet food donations and monetary contributions for pets. 

Meals on Wheels Rowan is dedicated to serving homebound seniors in need. We witness the incredible bond between our seniors and their beloved pet companions every day. However, we also recognize their challenges in providing food and vet care for their “fuzzy buddies.” 

Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary provides a no-kill sanctuary for homeless and rescued dogs and cats. They educate the community about responsible pet ownership and place animals in loving homes. 

Your support will provide wellness checks, grooming, spaying and neutering, medical care, and vaccines for the “fuzzy buddies” both agencies serve! We are incredibly excited to continue this partnership, and we hope you will join us for the first annual “Pawsitvely Purrfect Night Out” on August 3^rd at Barnhardt Jewelers in downtown Salisbury. 

With your generosity, we can ensure that the pet companions of our seniors and the fuzzy buddies in Rowan County receive the care and nourishment they deserve.
