Q. How old do you have to be to volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer. We frequently see young children who ride along with parents or grandparents. We request that children be with a parent, grandparent, guardian, or caregiver.
Drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
Q. Can I volunteer if I am not available year-round?
Yes, we can schedule your volunteer days for the days or weeks you are available.
Q. Can I volunteer if I can drive but can't hop in and out of a car very well?
Yes, all you need is a partner who can be your "jumper," who takes the meals to the door and greets the participant. Ask a friend or neighbor to be your partner.
Q. Do I have to have someone else ride with me to deliver meals?
We respectfully request that you have a buddy ride with you when you deliver. You may be the one driving and jumping, but it is safer to travel with a buddy.
